Lightning Strike Prevention

While it is suggested that a lightning strike is only a 1 in 200 event, in a recent storm, we had two clients have lightning hit their home, one resulting in more than $100,000 in damage to the electronics in the home. It might be sensible to investigate installing a lightning rod and/or surge arrestor to avoid the inconvenience of a direct hit. Controlling damage(s) from these devastating storms is a simple step to controlling your long-term insurance costs.
